Selfless charity

Selfless charity

Plagues, hardships, adversity, and times of suffering keep coming in the life of man. Happiness and sorrow are two wheels of the life chariot. One should never be afraid or nervous of them. Difficulties give man the power to struggle and help in his progress and spiritual development.

God has favoured us by bestowing upon us all kinds of comforts. Many people around us are unprivileged and diseased. We should help them according to our talent and ability. Disaster is the test of love. How is our behavior towards our friends and neighbours in distress, is the real indicator of our character.

Can we sit in the house if there is a fire in the neighbourhood ? can we eat good food when people are starving with hunger? Only when the euphoria of serving people with love, respect and humility, is born in the heart, we can say that our love is real.

People with different ideologies live in the world and everyone has their own interests. In such a situation a mutual conflict is always possible. Not everyone can agree with our ideology, so they will continue to create difficulties in front of us. This is real life. Victory is available only to those who struggle with difficulties, and fighting adversities. Only Such people do well for themselves and everyone.

There are many difficulties in doing good, serving and favouring others. Philanthropy brings mental satisfaction as well as as grace of God.

Philanthropy increases human respect. A true philanthropist is always happy. A scoundrel only desires wealth everywhere. Middle-class individuals want both wealth and respect. People of excellent class just want respect. The highest class people do not even want respect. They are only engaged in acts of philanthropy out of selflessness.

The tree never eats its fruit, the river never stores water for itself. Gentle men are always working for the betterment of others. If a person of evil instinct acts in a spirit of philanthropy, then his ill-will ceases.
